About Me

Hi, I’m Celia, I’m a licensed massage therapist and the founder of Soma Balance Bodywork and Massage Therapy. I’m an athlete, dancer, and all around nerd. To satisfy my interest in the human body and to learn about everything humans are capable of, I attended the Berkana Institute of Massage Therapy in Longmont, Colorado. I studied integrative massage therapy blending Swedish and Thai massage, deep tissue, neuromuscular therapy, and kinesiology. I studied under Jill Berkana, a leader in the profession, whose emphasis on ethics, mindfulness, and hygiene are the foundation of the Berkana Institute.

I approach every massage session with curiosity and an open mind. I welcome people of all ages, identities, gender expressions, and body types in my practice. I believe massage therapy can be a bridge between the body and mind to help us live in balance no matter your background. If you want to talk more about whether massage therapy is right for you, please feel free to reach out.

About The Space

Soma Balance Studio is a home studio located at 475 Bellevue Avenue in Lander, WY just down the street from the Lander Community Center.

The studio is quiet and comfortable. There is a restroom right next to the massage room for clients to use. The studio is on the ground floor, but there are two steps to enter my home. Be aware that I have a cat. She isn’t allowed in the massage studio, but she is friendly and may come around to say hello when you’re arriving or leaving. If you have a severe cat allergy, please feel free to reach out and we can discuss the option of a mobile visit in your home. Please respect our space and remove your shoes upon entering the house and, please park in front of the property or in the gravel driveway on the west side of the house.
